dining table with metal base and Carrara marble top

A dining table with generous dimensions, created for a residential project in Milan, which thanks to its elegance and aesthetic lightness, lends itself to furnishing houses stylistically classic and does not disdain the combination with furniture with modern design. The large slab of white Carrara marble, precious for purity and size, is finished in the edges with a grinding that allows to reach a thickness of 10 millimeters and is structurally supported and reinforced by a support base on the sole foot. Result of the union of 36 single tubular metal legs with bronzed finish, the central foot allows a free seat around the table that is increasingly used for work and study, as well as its natural dining function. The multitude of legs is freely inspired by the movement and folds of the soft velvet in the large theatrical curtains that curl open the stage to the show.
Its structure allows great customizations through the top in different materials.
