Ombre

Ceramic tea cup set

Created ad hoc for a Client who loves tea, these cups are the synthesis of design, both in terms of size and composition, of the union between past and present customs of the rite of tea. Detaching from the classic cup with the low and enlarged form, the shape of Ombre is brought slightly towards that of mugs, cups par excellence modern, but maintaining some characters of the classic ones, one on all: the presence of the saucer. The decoration recalls on the latter the shape of the projected shadow of the cup, binding indissolubly the duo. As for other products created by Beatrice, the craft character is firmly enhanced through the painting that shows visible signs of brushstrokes and color differences.
